Adding that extra time filter really helped things; ideas I've always had but it
was too
tedious to try and compute via pad & paper. I was basically able to take my
existing
manual strategy and improve by more than 20%. Alot of work but it was worth it
(at least for me :)
I'll give you an update in a couple months and let you look at real time
results.

If you ask any trader, they will all tell you that a
trader's worse enemy is fear and greed. I think the
only way to eliminate fear and greed is to develop a
strategy and back test it to see if it would have
worked or not. In this way I can find out what
works- So I don't end up selling a stock too early or
holding it too long. I don't want to see my profits gained
disappear. Back testing with historical data gives me
confidence in my strategy thus, eliminating fear and greed
by letting me know what I can expect beforehand.
